Netaji Subhash Institute of Technology (NSIT), earlier known as Delhi Institute of Technology, is one of the premier institutes for engineering in India. It was established in 1983 and got fully residential campus at Dwarka, New Delhi in July 1998. It is affiliated to Delhi University. Within 25 years NSIT has earned a name for itself and it has now an ultimate goal to achieve the status of Deemed University. Types of Engineering Courses NSIT offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs. It offers various Engineering programs such as Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics and Communication, Instrumentation, Manufacturing Process, Information Technology and Biotechnology for the undergraduate NSIT Admission Criteria For an undergraduate course, the candidates should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination or 10+2 in science from any recognized Central/state board. The candidates should have cleared their BE/BTech from any recognized University or Institution for admission in ME/MTech program. NSIT Admission Procedure Candidates seeking admission to undergraduate course have to appear for Combined Entrance Examination conducted by the University of Delhi. They need to register their names by filling up the application form for the examination. Selection is based on the rank obtained by the candidates. The CCE is held on the third and fourth Sunday of May and results are declared within 15-20 days. 15% admission is done on the basis of the rank in AIEEE. Postgraduate admission is based on the sore of GATE and an Interview.
