All India Engineering Entrance Exams

All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE), an entrance exam for admission to Engineering, Architecture, Planning and Pharmacy degree courses in different engineering colleges and institutes in India, is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Department of Secondary & Higher Education. This national level entrance test is for admission to various under-graduate engineering and architecture courses in institutes that accept the AIEEE score, including 20 prestigious NITs.

Eligibility for AIEEE 2011:
Candidates should have passed 10+2 level examination or its equivalent with 50% marks. They should have read mathematics, physics, and chemistry. Final year candidates of 10+2 may also appear in AIEEE. Candidates who have already appeared three times or more will be permitted to appear in AIEEE 2011 as a last chance..

Sale of Forms: December 1 to 31, 2011
Last Date of Receipt of Forms: December 31, 20011
Online Submission: December 7 to 31, 2011
Expected Date of Result: First week of June, 2011

Pattern of AIEEE 2011:
Entrance Examination consists of two papers -1st paper will be of three parts of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of equal weightage with objective type questions for BE/BTech courses and 2nd paper will be of Mathematics, Aptitude Test and Drawing for BArch and Planning. The Aptitude Test is framed to evaluate student's perception, imagination, observation, creativity and architectural awareness.
